About the Artist:

Maureen is self taught and has been painting for over 25 years. Her preferred mediums are graphite, watercolour and pastel. She always uses artist's quality materials.

In January she was elected as a member of The Birmingham Watercolour Society and is a member of The Wildlife Artist's Society International, Marwell International Wildlife Art Society and The Association of Animal Artists.

Maureen has exhibited in galleries in St Ives, Padstow, Perranporth,Liskeard, Perranuthnoe, Godalming and the Mall Galleries in London. Her artwork has also been used as cards by national companies.

During the past few years Maureen has raised over £5000 through her artwork for MacMillan Cancer Research, RNLI, Cornwall Special Lives, The Samaritans and Perranporth Life Saving Club.
